Windsurfing: Levington
Wind Direction: n
Wind Stength: 10/30
Surf / Sea State: flat/river chop
Air Temperature: 10
Sea Temperature: 8
Weather: sunny periods
Max Speed: 25.78 (knots - unless stated otherwise)
Distance Covered: 12 (Nautical Miles - unless stated otherwise)

With the wind in the north I could not face another battering in the Bradfield chop so after breakfast and paper read with Mag at Levington I decided to get my boards and see if I could find some flat water just to the right of the marina by the creek. With the wind offshore sailsize was a nightmare but I took the longboard as it would have difficult to get a short board there and the wind was very up and down.So starting in no wind I was soon into winds gusting 30 mph and with a 8.5 meant I was in for afew dunking before I could get going !!! I beat up the river and had one good run back by the creek when I was totally overpowered !!! I tried again but the wind was mega gusty, one minute nothing then a 30 mph squall with hail :( I did sail up past Pin Mill and back and did manage another bang on the head and lose another pair of sunglasses :( So not the best but at least I know Levington is crap in north winds !!!
